Bentley reveals EXP 15 at Pebble Beach Concours, a three-seat concept inspired by the 1930 Speed Six Blue Train, previewing the brand’s first electric car.

Bentley unveiled its latest design vision, the EXP 15, during Monterey Car Week 2025 at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The concept marked the brand’s first appearance at the event since the EXP 100 GT in 2019, and was shown alongside the historic Speed Six “Blue Train,” a car that recalls Woolf Barnato’s legendary 1930 race against the Le Train Bleu express.

While not intended for production, the EXP 15 signals the future direction of Bentley’s design language. It retains key visual hallmarks such as the upright grille, an endless bonnet line and a rearward cabin, yet reinterprets them in a three-seat, three-door format. The interior includes innovative storage solutions, while the exterior introduces active spoilers, slim lighting signatures and a redesigned Winged B emblem.

The concept is structured around five core principles. Upright Elegance emphasizes the front profile, Iconic Grille redefines the Bentley face for an electric era, Endless Bonnet Line extends heritage proportions with new functional compartments, Resting Beast conveys muscularity balanced with calm stance, and Prestigious Shield highlights a clean rear surface framing the emblem.

The materials point to Bentley’s sustainable ambitions: Fox Brothers wool with ombré shading, 3D-printed titanium, acrylic embedded with metallic mesh, and Pallas Gold paint featuring radar- and lidar-compatible aluminum pigments. Powertrain details remain undisclosed, but the EXP 15 is confirmed as a fully electric, all-wheel-drive grand tourer with rapid charging capability.

Director of Design Robin Page, who returned to Bentley in 2023 after leading Volvo’s global design, stressed that feedback from Pebble Beach would help shape the next generation of models. The EXP 15 is set to influence Bentley’s first full-electric production car, due for reveal in 2026. Having returned to Crewe, the concept will continue its role in the brand’s newly opened three-storey Design Studio, shaping the DNA of Bentley’s electric future.
