Karma Automotive has launched its Engage by Karma pilot, turning access to a vehicle into part of a broader luxury experience. The program debuts in Las Vegas and reflects a clear shift in the premium segment: from ownership to on-demand access, from product to service.
At the core of the initiative is a fleet of Karma Revero sport sedans, available to clients at any moment and delivered with white-glove service, fully charged and fueled. The cars are positioned for both short trips along the Strip and longer journeys beyond the city. Entry into the program is limited — participation is invitation-only, and full details remain restricted during the pilot phase.
The operational backbone is provided by Flexdrive, a Lyft subsidiary specializing in fleet management. The system enables real-time vehicle tracking, monitors movement patterns, and anticipates maintenance needs. This ensures that vehicles remain consistently available while maximizing fleet efficiency — a key requirement for an on-demand model.
Las Vegas itself plays a strategic role. The city attracts millions of visitors each month, including a high concentration of affluent travelers, and maintains strong hotel occupancy rates. Karma has already established a presence in the region as an official luxury vehicle partner of the Las Vegas Raiders, with branded spaces at Allegiant Stadium. The new service builds directly on that foundation.
The broader market context reinforces the concept. Research indicates that high-net-worth customers increasingly prioritize flexibility and curated experiences over ownership.
