Mazda announces 2026 CX-90 pricing and updates
Mazda has revealed pricing for the 2026 CX-90, adding Alexa integration, new paint options, and expanded Premium Sport trims. Full details from Mazda USA.
Mazda North American Operations has announced pricing and trim details for the 2026 CX-90, a three-row crossover built on the company’s Large Platform. With seating for up to eight and engineering focused on driving dynamics, the updated model blends familiar strengths with new technology and design options.
One of the headline changes is the standard inclusion of Amazon Alexa voice control across the entire lineup. Buyers also gain access to a new paint option, Polymetal Gray Metallic, while Premium Sport versions add blackout styling and enhanced features. For the first time, the Premium Sport package is offered on the high-powered 3.3 Turbo S models, which also raise maximum towing capacity to 5,000 pounds when equipped with Mazda accessories.
Production of the CX-90 takes place at Mazda’s Hofu Plant No.2 (H2) in Yamaguchi, Japan. This facility has been modernized for Large Platform models, which also include the CX-60, CX-70, and CX-80.
The base 3.3 Turbo Select trim now comes with Alexa as standard, and its EPA rating shows a slight shift: 23 mpg city compared to 24 mpg for the 2025 model. Pricing rises from $37,845 to $38,800. The U.S. market launch is scheduled for fall 2025. Canada has not yet published figures for the 2026 model year, while Europe and Japan remain outside the CX-90 program.
Competitors in the crowded three-row crossover segment include the 2026 Hyundai Palisade with a new V6, the 2025 Honda Pilot, the 2025 Kia Telluride, and the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander. Their prices range from $36,390 to just over $41,000, placing the CX-90 directly in the mix.
Mazda does not provide model-specific forecasts, but North American sales climbed 16.8% in 2024, with the CX-90 posting a record December of nearly 6,000 units. These figures suggest strong expectations for the refreshed 2026 version.
Warranty coverage in the U.S. remains standard: 3 years/36,000 miles for the full vehicle and 5 years/60,000 miles for the powertrain. Plug-in hybrid variants carry an additional 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the high-voltage battery.
With added technology, fresh styling, and a role within Mazda’s broader electrification roadmap—culminating in its first dedicated BEV in 2027—the 2026 CX-90 reinforces the brand’s ambition in the family crossover market.
