Porsche 911 Turbo S with T-Hybrid technology unveiled in Munich
Porsche introduces the 911 Turbo S with T-Hybrid at IAA Munich. The most powerful 911 ever combines 701 hp, advanced aerodynamics and record Nürburgring lap time.
Porsche unveiled one of the highlights of the IAA Mobility 2025 show in Munich: the new 911 Turbo S. The model immediately claimed the title of the most powerful production 911 ever built, thanks to its T-Hybrid system with two electric turbochargers and a compact high-voltage battery. The combined output reaches 701 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
Performance figures underline the leap forward. The sprint to 100 km/h now takes just 2.5 seconds, while 200 km/h arrives in 8.4 seconds, half a second quicker than before. Top speed remains 322 km/h, yet the overall responsiveness has clearly improved. The hybrid system adds roughly 180 pounds, but this is balanced out by reinforced brakes, an upgraded chassis, and active aerodynamics.
The Nürburgring Nordschleife offered the most convincing proof: the new Turbo S set a time of 7:03.92, about 14 seconds faster than its predecessor. Test drivers note that the car feels not heavier, but sharper and more agile.
Chassis technology plays a key role. The electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) is now standard, integrated into the 400-volt system to improve cornering stability. Wider 325/30 ZR21 rear tires deliver stronger grip, while the PCCB ceramic brakes with discs up to 420 mm represent the largest ever fitted to a two-door Porsche.
Design details also stand out. The new cross-series identity introduces the Turbonite finish, applied to badges, window trims, and interior accents. Recognized by Pantone reports, this exclusive shade is now a hallmark of all Turbo models.
In the United States, media report indicative prices of $272,650 for the coupé and $286,650 for the cabriolet, with deliveries expected in spring 2026. Official figures for Germany are not yet available. What is clear, however, is that Porsche has pushed the Turbo S into a new dimension — faster, more advanced, and visually distinctive both on the track and on the road.
