Honda Unveils 2025 Prologue with Increased Range and Power
The 2025 Honda Prologue receives an upgraded powertrain, extending its EPA-rated range to 308 miles. Learn about its new performance specs, safety features, and competitive positioning.
Honda is strengthening its foothold in the EV segment with the upgraded 2025 Honda Prologue. This all-electric SUV now boasts enhanced technical features, an improved driving range, and a more competitive stance in the growing market.
The key upgrade comes in the form of a refined front-wheel-drive powertrain, which extends the vehicle’s EPA-rated range to 308 miles (495 km)—12 miles more than its predecessor. The front-wheel-drive model now delivers 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, improving overall efficiency and driving performance.
Built on General Motors’ Ultium platform, the Prologue shares its foundation with the Chevrolet Blazer EV and Cadillac Lyriq. However, Honda has carefully crafted a unique balance of performance, range, and signature build quality. The FWD version now offers 296 miles (476 km) of range, while the AWD configuration provides between 273 and 281 miles (439–452 km).
Interestingly, the 2025 Honda Prologue has no direct predecessor in the company’s lineup. Unlike past limited-production EVs such as the Honda Clarity and Fit EV, this model signals a serious commitment to full-scale electrification.
Safety remains a priority, with Honda’s Sensing suite featuring adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. The vehicle also comes equipped with eight airbags, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control for enhanced comfort and convenience.
With its upgraded capabilities, competitive range, and trusted engineering, the refreshed Honda Prologue positions itself as a strong contender in the electric crossover segment. Whether for daily commuting or long-distance travel, this model offers a compelling blend of performance and practicality for modern EV buyers.
