Skoda Classic Tour 2025 gathered 207 historic cars for a 140 km route with factory drive-through, Svijany Castle stop, precision tests and aviation museum finish.

Mlada Boleslav once again turned into a living museum as the 12th Skoda Classic Tour brought employees and their beloved cars together. Saturday started under rain, but by noon the skies cleared, revealing 207 classic cars and Youngtimers lined up in front of the Skoda Museum.

This year’s route covered more than 140 kilometres and, as tradition dictates, led participants straight through the Skoda Auto main factory. Crews drove past production lines and witnessed demonstrations of predictive maintenance technologies, a key element of the company’s Smart Factory strategy. Student-built concept cars were also on display inside the facility.

The first stage ended at Svijany Castle, a restored site owned by the local brewery and now home to exhibitions and cultural events. Before reaching the castle, crews faced three regularity tests, where timing accuracy was measured to hundredths of a second. One of these tests passed near the birthplace of company founder Vaclav Laurin, where actors dressed in period costumes welcomed the drivers with a Laurin & Klement 110.

The second stage kept the spirit playful with a quiz challenge and a precision reversing test. The rally then headed toward its traditional finish at the Metodej Vlach Aviation Museum, known for its collection of 28 historic aircraft, 22 of which are airworthy. Many crews stayed long after the finish, sharing experiences and admiring each other’s cars.

The 130th anniversary of the Skoda brand added a special touch this year. The Skoda Museum’s new exhibition, opened in spring 2025, explores the company’s evolution from 1895 and complemented the celebratory spirit of the event.

While the official results of the 2025 regularity tests have not yet been published, interest is high. In previous years, winners earned recognition within the community and often returned to compete again. The Skoda Classic Tour has become more than just a rally — it is a gathering that unites employees, the brand’s heritage, and its forward-looking innovations.
