Maserati announced its role at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 as sponsor and mobility partner, highlighting its design collaborations and presence in Milan Design Week.

Maserati is taking on a new role at the Salone del Mobile.Milano, becoming an official sponsor and mobility partner of one of the most influential design events in the world, where hundreds of thousands of professionals and nearly two thousand exhibitors gather each year. For the Modena-based brand, this is more than a presence — it is a move into a space where the car is treated as part of a broader design culture.

The brand’s participation unfolds on several levels. Inside the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition grounds, Maserati has created its own environment — the Maserati Lounge — developed together with Giorgetti. The space features pieces from the Giorgetti Maserati Edition collection, including the Lorelei sofa and Ligea tables, whose forms draw directly from automotive aerodynamics and signature Maserati design elements. The setting is completed by the Amati Folgore sound system by Sonus faber, a limited-edition audio installation visually and conceptually linked to Maserati’s electric Folgore range.

This combination of furniture, sound, and automotive design highlights how Maserati is extending its design language beyond the automotive sector. For Salone del Mobile, this direction is consistent with its evolution into a platform where design connects multiple industries — from architecture to technology.

Alongside the lounge, Maserati presents two key projects. The first is the Grecale Giorgetti, a one-off vehicle created through the Fuoriserie personalization program. First unveiled in 2025, the model now features additional elements inspired by travel and outdoor living. The second is the GranTurismo Meccanica Lirica, part of a project exploring the relationship between mechanical precision and musical expression. This concept has already been translated into the Meccanica Lirica package for production GranTurismo and GranCabrio models, where design cues from one-off cars are adapted for a broader range.

Maserati frames its presence at the Salone through shared values with the design world — craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to transform ideas into experiences. At the same time, the event offers access to an international audience that increasingly views cars not only as transportation, but as design objects.

The brand’s involvement extends beyond the exhibition halls into the city itself. Maserati takes part in Milan Design Week through the Design Kiosk in Piazza della Scala, a public space hosting discussions on design, architecture, and culture. Here, Maserati joins the closing program, contributing to conversations about the future of design and the role of innovation.

An additional symbolic layer comes from the centenary of the Trident emblem, first seen on the Tipo 26. The anniversary is reflected in the brand’s presence at the event, linking Maserati’s heritage with its contemporary design expression.

Against the backdrop of a global event that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors and thousands of companies, Maserati’s participation signals an effort to position itself not only within the automotive sector, but within a wider cultural and design landscape.
