Bugatti Festival 2025 celebrates 20th anniversary of Veyron
Bugatti kicks off celebrations for Veyron’s 20th anniversary at the 2025 Molsheim Festival with historic models, rare Veyrons and a parade through the town.
Molsheim is preparing for a milestone celebration: from September 11 to 14, 2025, the town will host the Bugatti Festival, this year dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the iconic Veyron. Conceived by Ferdinand K. Piech, the car set out to deliver nearly 1,000 PS and a top speed beyond 400 km/h — a seemingly impossible goal that turned into a masterpiece of engineering.
The official program includes the traditional welcome at the Hostellerie du Pur Sang, exhibitions of historic and contemporary Bugatti models, multiple rare Veyrons on display, and the Sunday parade through the heart of Molsheim. The festivities will culminate at Parc des Jésuites, where the “Village des Artistes” opens in the morning, followed by the awards ceremony and final gathering in the afternoon.
The Veyron was more than just a car — it reestablished Bugatti at the pinnacle of automotive performance. Its production was limited to 450 units, yet its record-breaking 408.47 km/h top speed, certified by TÜV, and the later Super Sport achievement of 431 km/h still stand as benchmarks.
The event is organized by Enthousiastes Bugatti Alsace, a club founded in 1979 to preserve Ettore Bugatti’s legacy. This year’s edition looks beyond history, too — Bugatti has already revealed the new hybrid Tourbillon, powered by a naturally aspirated V16, signaling the next chapter for the brand.
The 2025 festival promises to be more than a commemoration — it is a living dialogue between past and future. For enthusiasts, it is a rare chance to see dozens of extraordinary cars gathered in one place and witness how the Veyron’s spirit continues to shape Bugatti’s vision today.
