Lucid Studio Zurich Opens with Gravity Grand Touring Reveal

Lucid Motors opens a new Zurich Studio on Löwenstrasse 56, marking its eighth European location and presenting the all-electric Lucid Gravity SUV to Swiss customers.

Lucid Motors has taken another significant step in its European expansion by opening a new Lucid Studio in the heart of Zurich. The permanent location on Löwenstrasse 56 marks a milestone for the California-based EV manufacturer and served as the stage for the Swiss debut of its all-electric SUV, the Lucid Gravity.

Previously, Lucid had a presence in Zurich through its showroom in the Jelmoli department store and a temporary location at MOTORWORLD Kemptthal. Moving into a prime downtown address highlights the brand’s ambition to make its vehicles more accessible to Swiss drivers and visitors. Like other Lucid Studios across Europe, the new space follows a clean, West Coast–inspired design concept with open interiors and digital car configurators.

The star of the opening event was the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring. This seven-seat SUV delivers 617 kW (839 PS), accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, and offers up to 748 km of WLTP range thanks to its 123 kWh battery pack. A Touring version will follow later.

Alongside Gravity, the showroom also features the full Lucid Air lineup, including the Air Pure, which achieves energy consumption as low as 11.8 kWh/100 km with up to 831 km of range, and the Air Grand Touring, capable of up to 960 km on a single charge.

Lawrence Hamilton, President of Lucid Europe, emphasized that Switzerland remains a key growth market for the brand. He noted that the efficiency and performance of Lucid vehicles make them equally suited for city driving and extended Alpine road trips.

Lucid continues to expand its footprint across Europe, with plans for additional studios in major cities. The strategy aims to boost brand visibility while improving access to test drives and service for customers across the region.
