Kia America will present the 2027 Telluride SUV at the LA Auto Show on November 20, 2025, highlighting the model’s legacy and record success in the U.S. market.

Kia America is closing one chapter of the Telluride story and preparing for another. Designed in California specifically for the U.S. and built in West Point, Georgia, the three-row SUV did more than boost sales — it reshaped how the brand was perceived across the country.

The pivotal moment came in 2020, when the Telluride made history as the first SUV to capture four major awards in the same year: World Car of the Year, North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, MotorTrend SUV of the Year and Car and Driver 10Best. Sales have climbed every year since its debut in 2019, and in 2025 both Kia and the Telluride are on track for record numbers.

Now Kia is turning the spotlight on a new campaign, “Telluride Legacy,” which revisits the launch of production seven years ago and highlights the model’s bold, boxy character. With the first generation preparing to bow out, the next step arrives: the second-generation SUV, officially named the 2027 Telluride, will make its world premiere on November 20, 2025 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Full details remain under wraps until the debut. Kia has not released specifications, maintaining anticipation ahead of the reveal. Industry coverage points to cautious expectations of lineup growth and technology updates, but official confirmation will only come in Los Angeles. What is already clear, however, is that the Telluride remains central to Kia’s transformation in the U.S. market.
