Skoda presents the Fabia 130 — 130 kW, sharper handling, and motorsport spirit, combining everyday comfort with racing dynamics

Skoda has unveiled the new Fabia 130, a sport-focused version inspired by the brand’s racing heritage and the championship-winning Fabia RS Rally2. Revealed on October 7, 2025, the model celebrates both 25 years of the Fabia and 130 years of Skoda.

Based on the Monte Carlo trim, the Fabia 130 retains its signature design but gains a more dynamic character. Under the hood lies a 1.5-liter TSI engine tuned to deliver 130 kW—an increase of about 20 kW over the standard Monte Carlo. Torque remains at 250 Nm but now spreads across a wider rev range, improving throttle response and mid-range flexibility. Paired with an upgraded seven-speed DSG, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 228 km/h, making it the fastest production Fabia ever built.

Engineers in Mlada Boleslav refined the chassis and steering setup while keeping the sport suspension lowered by 15 mm for added precision. For the first time, drivers can fully deactivate the ASR traction control or engage ASR Sport mode, allowing later ESC intervention—a clear nod to the brand’s motorsport experience.

Visually, the Fabia 130 stands out with aerodynamic enhancements such as an extended front bumper and a new rear spoiler. Its bold appearance is defined by 18-inch Libra wheels in a smoked finish, red brake calipers, darkened Bi-LED headlights, and twin exhaust tips. The color palette includes white, blue, red, and black, while a special 130 badge on the fenders marks its sporting identity.

Inside, the car features sport seats with integrated headrests, silver decorative inserts, and door sills engraved with Fabia 130. The edition will be produced in limited numbers, with first deliveries scheduled for December 2025.

The Fabia nameplate has long been tied to motorsport. Since its debut in 1999, over five million units have been produced. The RS Rally2 continues to dominate global rally stages—by mid-2025, Skoda Motorsport celebrated its 200th chassis and eight WRC2 titles. The Fabia 130 draws from that success, blending daily usability with the pulse of competitive racing.
