Aston Martin introduces the DB12 S, a 700PS evolution of its Super Tourer combining sharper dynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, and refined luxury, arriving in Q1 2026.

Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 S, the new flagship in its Super Tourer lineup. Building on the recently launched DB12, the “S” model brings an extra 20 PS, sharper transmission response, and a suite of chassis upgrades aimed at refining precision without sacrificing comfort.

At its heart lies the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, now delivering 700 PS at 6000 rpm and 800 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph takes just 3.4 seconds, while top speed remains an impressive 202 mph. The changes are most evident in the driving feel — faster shifts, recalibrated throttle mapping and an improved Launch Control system sharpen the car’s reactions while preserving the Super Tourer smoothness.

The chassis has been thoroughly refined. New Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar and revised geometry enhance agility and control. Standard carbon-ceramic brakes cut unsprung mass by 27 kg, improving ride quality and braking consistency under load.

Visually, the DB12 S distinguishes itself with a dual-element front splitter and functional bonnet louvres that aid cooling and aerodynamic stability. At the rear, a fixed spoiler and stacked quad tailpipes emphasize the car’s athletic stance and its deeper, tuned exhaust tone.

Inside, Aston Martin gives the “S” model a distinctive personality. Red-anodised controls, intricate stitching and leather-Alcantara combinations define a cabin that blends performance focus with refined luxury. Standard 16-way Sport Plus seats ensure comfort on long drives, while optional carbon-fibre performance seats reduce weight further.

Set to begin deliveries in Q1 2026, the DB12 S represents the purest expression yet of Aston Martin’s Super Tourer ethos — a car that unites power, precision and poise in equal measure.
