Opel unveiled its electric highlights at XS Cars’n’Coffee 2025 on the Lausitzring, featuring the Mokka GSE Rally, the road-going Mokka GSE and the adventure-ready Frontera GRAVEL.

At the DEKRA Lausitzring in Brandenburg, the 2025 edition of XS Cars’n’Coffee brought together fans of tuning, speed and electric innovation. Opel took the spotlight with an emotional electric line-up, featuring three standout models: the Mokka GSE Rally, the Mokka GSE, and the adventurous Frontera GRAVEL show car.

The electric Mokka GSE Rally embodied pure competition spirit, proving that an electric vehicle can ignite genuine excitement. With 207 kW of power, 345 Nm of torque and rally-bred technology, the prototype represents a new chapter in electric motorsport. Opel notes that it serves as a testbed for technologies destined for production models.

This link is clearly visible in the production Mokka GSE — now the fastest all-electric Opel. Matching its rally counterpart in output, it delivers 0–100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h. A Torsen multi-plate limited-slip differential, sport-tuned chassis and precise steering, all inspired by electric rally experience, define its performance character.

In contrast, the Opel Frontera GRAVEL show car appealed to adventure enthusiasts. Its matte black and “Desert Stone” finish, orange highlights and off-road details — including a winch, storage boxes and roof rack — give it a look ready for untamed terrain. First revealed at XS Carnight on Lake Wörthersee in spring, it once again turned heads at Lausitzring.

To highlight its heritage, Opel also presented a Vectra B from the Opel Classic collection, recalling an era of touring car dominance. At Lausitzring, the brand united past, present and future — all driven by a single emotion: the thrill of motion.
