FIAT updates its iconic Panda lineup for 2026, adding hybrid and electric options while unifying trims across Grande Panda and Pandina models.

FIAT closes 2025 with a major renewal of one of its most iconic families — the Panda. The automaker has presented the 2026 lineup, now composed of two key models: Grande Panda and Pandina. Both represent the brand’s new philosophy of simplicity, versatility, and technology while keeping their distinct character.

The Grande Panda has become a global model, offered with petrol, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, including right-hand-drive versions. Built on the Stellantis Smart Car platform shared with the Citroën e-C3 and Opel Frontera, it measures around four meters in length yet remains compact and practical, with a luggage capacity of up to 412 liters. The trims — POP, ICON, and LA PRIMA — differ in design and equipment, from the practical entry version to the premium variant featuring 17-inch wheels, navigation, and soft-touch interiors. The electric version’s 44 kWh battery delivers up to 320 km of WLTP range, while the hybrid provides around 110 hp with efficient fuel consumption.

The Pandina continues as the “urban soul” of the range. At 3.69 m long and powered by a 1.0 GSE MHEV hybrid engine, it balances simplicity and comfort across three trims — POP, ICON, and CROSS. Safety remains central, with features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, and driver drowsiness detection included as standard.

A special touch for 2026 is FIAT’s collaboration with (RED). To mark the fourth anniversary of their partnership, both the Grande Panda and Pandina, when ordered in red, will carry two distinctive (RED) badges on their B-pillars, reaffirming FIAT’s ongoing support for global health initiatives.

The refreshed Panda lineup shows FIAT’s intent to unite heritage with innovation — preserving the charm of its urban legend while embracing new technologies and flexibility. The Grande Panda points toward global expansion, while the Pandina remains a symbol of accessible everyday mobility. Decades later, Panda continues to beat at the heart of FIAT.
