Volvo Trucks launches a drawing contest for children under 12 in Germany. The winning design will appear on a real FH Aero truck, revealed in early 2026.

Volvo Trucks Germany has launched a nationwide drawing competition inviting children under the age of twelve to design their own version of the Volvo FH Aero truck. Between October 6 and November 30, 2025, young artists can submit their creations, and the winning design will come to life on a real truck that will hit the road in 2026.

Participation is simple: templates are available at Volvo dealerships, service centers, and for download on the official website. Entries can be sent by mail to the Volvo Group Trucks Central Europe headquarters in Ismaning or uploaded online.

The main prize is as exciting as the challenge itself. The winner will be invited to Aschheim near Munich for an exclusive unveiling event, enjoy a hotel stay with their family, attend a festive dinner, and receive a Volvo Trucks merchandise package. In addition, one hundred plush moose will be raffled among all participants — a nod to the brand’s familiar mascot.

The contest coincides with the rollout of the new Volvo FH Aero generation, featuring improved aerodynamics and a camera-based mirror system that reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to five percent. This makes the initiative symbolic: children’s imagination meets engineering innovation, highlighting a future where creativity and technology coexist.

Organizers expect thousands of entries from across the country. As with Volvo Trucks’ previous European projects, the aim goes beyond fun — it encourages curiosity about design, mechanics, and environmental awareness.
