Porsche AG highlights stories of Steidinger, Brunt and Webb, showing how Porsche Clubs worldwide unite 240,000 members across generations and continents.

In 2025, Porsche Clubs around the world mark a remarkable milestone — more than seven decades of shared history uniting over 240,000 members across 86 countries. Founded in 1952, the community has grown into one of the strongest and most diverse club networks in the automotive world. Behind these numbers are deeply personal and inspiring stories.

At 90 years old, Jörg Steidinger embodies the enduring spirit of Porsche enthusiasm. A former goldsmith and lifelong admirer of the 356 series, he still cares for four of his cars, including a 1963 Cabriolet he has owned for nearly 45 years. Steidinger helped establish the Porsche 356 Club Deutschland, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The club brings together 356 owners from across Europe, hosting annual gatherings that have become a symbol of friendship and continuity within the Porsche world.

On the other side of the world, 17-year-old Theo Brunt from New Zealand tells a different but equally moving story. After saving for 18 months working in a fast-food shop, he bought his first Porsche Cayman S at just sixteen — making him the youngest member of the Porsche Club New Zealand. Now apprenticed at a Porsche service centre and studying automotive engineering, Brunt’s path reflects how passion can become profession. His club too marks its 50th anniversary in 2025, adding an extra layer of meaning to his journey.

Meanwhile in Canada, 11-year-old Jonathan Webb has grown up surrounded by the Porsche Club of America (PCA). Through its PCA Juniors program, he helps his father prepare a 996 Carrera 4S for events, interviews guests, and dreams of a future in motorsport. The PCA, founded in 1955, is the largest single-marque car club in the world, with over 150,000 members and a strong focus on nurturing the next generation of enthusiasts.

Porsche leaders often describe the clubs as “the heart of the brand” — living communities that preserve the company’s heritage while creating new traditions. As the automotive world becomes increasingly digital, it is these human connections that keep the Porsche legend alive, bridging generations, professions, and continents.
