Peugeot offers 10-year free connected services for EV drivers
Peugeot now includes e-ROUTES and Remote E-Controls free for ten years in all new electric models, enhancing convenience and charging management for drivers.
Peugeot is strengthening its presence in the electric mobility landscape by focusing on convenience and digital support for drivers. Since July 1, 2025, the brand has included two key services — e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge and Remote E-Controls — in the standard Connect ONE Pack for all new electric models. Both are offered free of charge for ten years, with no subscription required.
e-ROUTES acts as a smart navigation assistant, taking into account real driving range, the location of charging stations, and current traffic. The app connects to the PEUGEOT i-Connect system via smartphone mirroring and updates data in real time according to driving style. Drivers can create custom vehicle profiles — for example, when towing a trailer or using a bike rack — to improve route precision. The refreshed interface displays congestion and road updates directly on the map.
Remote E-Controls, available through the MyPEUGEOT app, allows users to manage their vehicle remotely: start or schedule charging, limit it to 80%, and pre-condition the cabin to 21 °C. For the E-3008 and E-5008 models, battery pre-heating is also available, ensuring efficient charging in cold conditions.
An essential element of this system is its connection to the Free2move Charge network, which now includes over one million charging points across Europe following integration with Plugsurfing. This wide coverage gives Peugeot drivers more confidence on long trips and reflects the brand’s strategy of making electric mobility simpler and more accessible.
While Peugeot has not yet detailed the specific markets and model lists covered by the ten-year package, the initiative signals a clear direction: beyond selling electric cars, the brand is building a comprehensive digital ecosystem where technology helps save both time and energy.
