Audi introduces redesigned myAudi app with AI assistant and digital key
Audi relaunches the myAudi app with a clean design, AI assistant powered by ChatGPT, and digital key integration, enhancing connectivity for drivers worldwide.
Audi has introduced the redesigned version of the myAudi app, marking another step toward integrating its digital services into a single ecosystem. The updated app features a completely refreshed interface that unites all touchpoints — the car, the mobile app, and the web — into one seamless experience, reflecting the brand’s premium identity.
The key innovation is the integration of artificial intelligence. Co-developed with CARIAD and powered by ChatGPT, the new AI assistant helps Audi owners find answers to technical questions by referring directly to the vehicle’s digital manual. This marks the first time AI has been embedded within the myAudi ecosystem, signaling the company’s broader digital strategy.
Equally notable is the digital key function, which allows users to unlock, start, and even share access to their vehicle using only a smartphone or smartwatch. The feature makes everyday interaction with the car simpler and more flexible, removing the need for a traditional key.
For electric vehicle drivers, the app offers enhanced tools for planning charging routes, managing charging schedules, and using Plug & Charge technology, which automatically identifies the vehicle at compatible stations. Some models also support battery preconditioning, optimizing temperature before departure.
The relaunch of myAudi reflects Audi’s long-term focus on digitalization. The app is now available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store across more than 50 markets, with additional regions such as Brazil and the Gulf states to follow soon. Beyond aesthetic updates, Audi is clearly laying the groundwork for a connected future, where the car becomes a core element of the user’s digital life.
