Polestar Expands in Germany with a New Polestar Space in Berlin
Polestar opens a new Space in Berlin-Moabit with Koch Automobile AG, offering design-focused electric vehicles and a full customer experience.
Polestar continues to expand its footprint in Germany and takes another decisive step by opening a refreshed Polestar Space in Berlin-Moabit, in partnership with Koch Automobile AG. The new location at Huttenstr. 50, 10553 Berlin integrates a showcase area, sales, test drives, consultation, delivery and service – all within approximately 380 m². Up to six vehicles, including pre-owned models, can be displayed simultaneously.
For Polestar, choosing Berlin is no coincidence. With a central yet urban location in Moabit, the brand strengthens its visibility in the capital region. As Thomas Koch, Chairman of Koch Automobile AG, states: “Polestar’s models with their focus on design and innovation, combined with a commitment to responsible performance, are perfectly suited for our urban environment.” His emphasis clearly lies not only on car sales but on a complete client experience.
Currently, Polestar operates nine retail locations and over 200 service partners in Germany. The new Berlin Space opens a new chapter in the brand’s retail strategy in the German market – a strategy aimed at doubling the number of locations by the end of 2026. Recent additions include sites in Offenbach and Saarbrücken. It is no longer enough for the brand merely to be present; it seeks to be tangible and visible in high-activity urban centres.
The architectural language of the new Space follows Scandinavian minimalism: bright open spaces, a show-room character, emphasis on material and form – a format Polestar is already implementing in its locations worldwide. This approach creates an atmosphere more akin to a design studio than a conventional car dealership.
Opening the Berlin centre not only reflects geographic expansion, but also a strengthening of the brand at a time when e-mobility is rapidly becoming the norm. The presence of such a format in the capital region may well attract new customers looking for both technological excellence and expressive design.
