Bonhams hosts an online auction featuring over 50 iconic movie cars, including Fast & Furious and John Wick vehicles, from the Movie Cars Central Museum in France.

The French museum Movie Cars Central, famous for its collection of legendary screen-used vehicles, is parting ways with some of its treasures. From November 21 to 28, Bonhams will hold an online auction featuring more than 50 cars and motorcycles seen in iconic films, along with nearly twenty related movie collectibles. All lots will be offered with no reserve price, drawing the attention of collectors and film enthusiasts worldwide.

The collection belongs to Franck Galiegue — an enthusiast and YouTuber who founded the museum in Étréchy, near Paris. His exhibition became one of Europe’s best-known hubs for pop culture and automotive history. Now, Galiegue says it’s time to move forward and sell part of the collection to pursue new automotive projects.

Among the headline vehicles are the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII driven by Paul Walker in “2 Fast 2 Furious,” a Ford Mustang Mach 1 from “John Wick,” the Peugeot 406 V6 from “Taxi 2,” and the Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu piloted by Ryan Gosling in “Drive.” Also featured are the General Lee Dodge Charger from “The Dukes of Hazzard,” a Ford LTD Crown Victoria from “Men in Black,” and the futuristic police car from “Back to the Future Part II.”

Bonhams notes that most of the vehicles remain in excellent, running condition, retaining many original details from their filming days. Alongside authentic screen-used cars, replicas of legendary models — such as the A-Team van, Herbie Beetle, Bumblebee Camaro, and Starsky & Hutch Torino — will also go under the hammer.

Estimates range from €20,000–40,000 for the more accessible models to €250,000–500,000 for rarities like the 2 Fast 2 Furious Evo. Experts highlight that demand for movie cars continues to grow, with prices up by nearly 35% over the past five years, according to ClassicCars.com.

Bonhams specialist Loïc Maschi expects bids from collectors in the United States, Japan, and the Middle East. “Cinema knows no boundaries,” he said, “and these cars are bridges between film lovers and car enthusiasts worldwide.”

Meanwhile, Franck Galiegue plans to carry on his vision through a new project, Ciné Cars Experience — a traveling exhibition that will showcase iconic vehicles at festivals and theaters across Europe, keeping these mechanical stars alive beyond the museum walls.
