Porsche Driving Center Mexico Launch Marks Regional Milestone
Porsche has opened its first Driving Center in Latin America at Mexico Drive Resort, offering track programs and insights into its vehicles; see details.
Porsche has taken a significant step in Latin America with the opening of its first Driving Center in the region, located within the Mexico Drive Resort near Mexico City. The new facility brings together Porsche’s motorsport heritage and the growing driving culture of Mexico and Latin America.
The centerpiece of the venue is a 4-kilometer circuit designed by Hermann Tilke, the architect behind many internationally recognized racetracks. According to information from the circuit itself, the layout features 22 turns, an equal split between left and right, elevation changes and elements typical of modern track design, including S-sections, a chicane and a corkscrew-like sequence. This combination allows drivers to explore vehicle dynamics while maintaining a controlled and safe environment.
Mexico Drive Resort, regarded as the first private racetrack and motorsport club in Mexico and Latin America, serves as a location for family activities, corporate events and automotive industry gatherings. The venue aims to cultivate a culture of safety, strengthen the enthusiast community and elevate Mexico’s international presence within motorsport.
The new Porsche Driving Center offers programs centered on understanding vehicle behavior and developing driving skills. Guests can take part in Driving Experience sessions with certified instructors, Track Experience modules designed to handle fast-changing scenarios and tailored Business Events. Modular hospitality areas, meeting rooms and a fleet of sports and electric models complete the environment.
The inauguration was attended by Felipe Nasr, Porsche factory driver and multi-time IMSA champion. He emphasized that the new center helps visitors understand what makes Porsche vehicles distinctive, beyond simply driving fast, and highlighted the importance of such a platform for the region’s community. Nasr’s career achievements, including victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2024 and 2025 and Porsche’s first IMSA win with the 963 at Road America, added weight to the event.
The opening coincided with the eleventh edition of the Porsche World Road Show. PWRS has become a global event, held in more than 45 countries and attracting tens of thousands of participants. In Mexico, the program once again brought together the full range of Porsche models, from hybrid Panamera and Cayenne versions to the all-electric Taycan and Macan Electric, along with iconic 911 models.
For Porsche Latin America, the establishment of the Driving Center aligns with its broader growth strategy. According to official data, the division works with 16 importers across 20 markets and continues to see rising sales. Building infrastructure where customers can experience vehicle performance firsthand supports the region’s focus on strengthening customer engagement.
The new center is poised to become a long-term destination for enthusiasts, while Mexico Drive Resort stands as an important base for future Porsche events in Latin America.
