Stellantis announces ABC certification of the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Nose by Five Star Racecar Bodies for Late Model racing, outlining key details for teams.

The introduction of the new Dodge Charger Scat Pack Nose into ABC-sanctioned Late Model racing marks another significant move by Stellantis to deepen its motorsports involvement. Developed by Direct Connection licensee Five Star Racecar Bodies, the component is now fully certified for competition, bringing the updated design language of the next-generation Charger directly onto oval tracks.

The approval followed an extensive review process. The ABC committee conducted detailed wind-tunnel comparisons to evaluate drag, balance and downforce, ultimately confirming that the new nose meets the parity requirements established for Late Model racing. This ensures that teams adopting the Charger front section remain within the strict aerodynamic framework designed to maintain fair competition.

Constructed from Five Star’s high-impact composite blend, the Charger Scat Pack Nose mirrors the visual signature of the new SIXPACK-powered Dodge Charger. The production model’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six, delivering up to 550 horsepower in the Scat Pack version, has become a defining element of Dodge’s evolving performance identity. The racing nose and accompanying fascia graphics also feature the revived Fratzog emblem, a symbol originally used by Dodge in the 1960s and now reintroduced to represent the brand’s modern direction.

The certification arrives alongside other recent Stellantis initiatives, including the debut of the 2026 Dodge Charger Hustle Stuff Drag Pak in NHRA Factory Stock Showdown and Ram’s preparations for its 2026 return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Together, these developments signal a renewed investment in American motorsports and a strategic effort to connect new vehicle programs with grassroots and national racing platforms.

The Charger Scat Pack Nose and fascia graphics kits will be available for Late Model teams beginning January 1, 2026. Their public debut at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis highlights the role of Direct Connection in supporting racers with factory-backed performance components. With its certified aerodynamic profile and strong visual connection to Dodge’s next-generation performance lineup, the new nose is poised to become a prominent addition to the Late Model field.
