As each year draws to a close, Bugatti continues a tradition that has become far more than a seasonal gathering. The annual Soirée de Noël at Château Saint-Jean once again brought customers together in Molsheim, turning a festive evening into a reflection of a year the marque itself describes as historic.

Around one hundred guests from across the world arrived at Bugatti’s spiritual home to look back on a year shaped by milestones. At its heart was the 20th anniversary of the Bugatti Veyron, a car that redefined what a series-production hypercar could be and permanently shifted the boundaries of automotive engineering.

The setting played a central role. Illuminated for the festive season, Château Saint-Jean provided a backdrop that blended heritage with celebration. Guests were welcomed personally by Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, Bugatti President Christophe Piochon, and Bugatti Managing Director Hendrik Malinowski. The traditional group photograph on the château steps once again underlined the sense of belonging that Bugatti continues to cultivate among its clients.

Inside the Aftersales Atelier, the evening unfolded as an immersive experience. Artist Charles Kaisin transformed the space into a dreamlike environment, with a single long table bringing every guest together. Carefully choreographed moments, performances and visual illusions paid tribute to Bugatti’s legacy, with particular focus on two decades of the Veyron.

Surrounding the dinner, Bugatti’s achievements took physical form. Historic and record-setting models such as the Mistral World Record Edition, the Veyron Vitesse World Record Edition and the Bolide “100th Anniversary” stood as tangible reminders of the marque’s technical ambition and its enduring link to icons like the Type 35.

Discussions later moved to the Design Studio within the Remise Sud, where attention turned toward Bugatti’s present and future. At the center was Brouillard, the first one-of-one creation of the Programme Solitaire. This initiative marks Bugatti’s return to true coachbuilding, with just two unique projects planned per year, echoing the bespoke traditions that shaped the brand more than a century ago.

The evening retained a distinctly Alsatian character. A chalet-inspired atmosphere, chestnuts, mulled wine and soft jazz recalled the region’s Christmas markets, grounding the celebration firmly in local culture.

Beyond celebration, the night also carried a charitable dimension. A dedicated auction in support of Semeurs d’Étoiles, a local organization supporting hospitalized children and their families, reinforced Bugatti’s long-standing commitment to community initiatives. The winning bid of €55,000 combined an exclusive heritage-focused experience with a unique handcrafted interpretation of Lalique’s Dancing Elephant.

The 2025 Soirée de Noël ultimately reflected more than the closing of a calendar year. From honoring the legacy of the Veyron to introducing the first steps of Programme Solitaire, the evening illustrated how Bugatti continues to balance heritage with carefully measured evolution, strengthening relationships while quietly shaping what comes next.
