Lucid Motors has announced the launch of Lucid Recharged™, its first official certified pre-owned vehicle program, introducing a new manufacturer-backed pathway into the brand’s electric vehicle lineup. The initiative is designed to combine the accessibility of pre-owned vehicles with the confidence and support typically associated with buying new.

The program is built around single-owner vehicles with limited mileage, each of which undergoes a 160-plus-point inspection before being approved. Where required, vehicles receive mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning using only Lucid-approved parts, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on quality control rather than simple resale.

A key pillar of Lucid Recharged™ is its warranty structure. Certified vehicles retain the balance of the original four-year or 50,000-mile factory warranty, supplemented by an additional 12-month or 12,000-mile manufacturer limited warranty. The package also includes roadside assistance for the full warranty term, a verified clean title, documented service history, a CARFAX report, and a detailed inspection record.

Lucid further distinguishes the program by allowing certain certified vehicles to be upgraded with additional features, including advanced driver assistance technologies such as DreamDrive® Pro. This option enables buyers to enhance functionality even after the vehicle’s initial sale.

The introduction of Lucid Recharged™ marks a significant step for the company as the secondary market for premium electric vehicles continues to mature. By formally entering the certified pre-owned space, Lucid adds a new layer of reassurance for buyers and positions its vehicles more competitively within the evolving EV landscape.
