Acura, the reigning champion, returns to the 12 Hours of Sebring with two ARX-06 prototypes. Can they defend their title against fierce competition? Follow the latest race updates here.

On March 15, 2025, the legendary Sebring International Raceway will host one of the most grueling endurance races in the world—the 12 Hours of Sebring. Acura, last year’s champion, returns to the grid with two hybrid ARX-06 GTP prototypes, aiming to repeat its 2024 triumph.

In the previous edition, Jordan Taylor, Louis Delétraz, and Colton Herta secured victory for Acura, cementing the brand’s place among endurance racing elites. This year, Acura fields two entries under Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian: the #60 ARX-06 will be driven by Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist for the full season, with six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon joining for Michelin Endurance Cup rounds, including Sebring. Meanwhile, the #93 car, featuring increased involvement from Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) in strategy and engineering, will be piloted by full-season drivers Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly, joined at Sebring by reigning three-time IndyCar champion Álex Palou.

Acura kicked off the season with a strong second-place finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, where the #60 car was also supported by MSR IndyCar driver Felix Rosenqvist. The #93 entry represents the first time HRC US is taking a lead role in strategizing and engineering an IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship racecar. Additionally, Kaku Ohta, a Honda Racing Corporation development driver, will be making his IMSA LMP2 class debut at Sebring with Era Motorsport.

The competition at Sebring promises to be fierce, with factory-backed efforts from Porsche Penske Motorsport, Cadillac Racing, and BMW M Team RLL all vying for the top spot. Historically, Acura and its performance division, HRC US (formerly Honda Performance Development), have amassed nine victories at Sebring, including three in the GTP class, four LMP2 class wins under the HPD (now HRC US) umbrella, and an overall victory in 2016.

Sebring is notorious for its brutal conditions: relentless heat, bumpy asphalt, and long green-flag runs demand maximum reliability from the cars and unwavering focus from the drivers. With forecasts predicting a hot and dry race day, tire management and cooling strategies will be key factors in the battle for endurance supremacy.

The race will be streamed live on NBC Peacock, while international fans can tune in via IMSA’s official YouTube channel. Additionally, Radio Le Mans will provide flag-to-flag coverage via IMSA.com. Acura and HRC US will also provide exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage on their social media platforms.

Twelve hours, a punishing circuit, intense battles, and cutting-edge hybrid technology—Acura is once again ready for one of the toughest tests of the season.
