Alfa Romeo reports that the new 33 Stradale is back at the Arese Museum after a US tour, marking the car’s return to Italy and its public display until January.

The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has returned to Italy and is once again on display at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, where it can be seen by the public until January 6. The car’s reappearance marks the conclusion of an extensive North American tour that followed its official debut in 2023 and placed the model at the center of some of the most prestigious automotive and cultural events in the United States.

This is the second time the 33 Stradale has been exhibited at the museum. Its first appearance came immediately after the official reveal on August 30, 2023. The current display therefore carries a symbolic weight, closing a chapter that saw the car travel across the U.S. and reinforcing its role as one of Alfa Romeo’s most important contemporary statements.

In Arese, the 33 Stradale is showcased in a dedicated area of the Timeline section, positioned next to the wind tunnel model. This placement is deliberate, highlighting the close relationship between aerodynamic research, design and performance that defines the car’s development and character.

Produced in just 33 units, the modern 33 Stradale draws inspiration from the legendary 1960s original and the Tipo 33 racing cars, while standing firmly as a product of today. Powered by a 630-hp twin-turbo V6, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds and reaches a top speed of 333 km/h. Each example is handcrafted as part of the Bottega Fuoriserie project, with uncompromising attention to detail and individual specifications.

The North American tour played a key role in shaping the car’s public presence. The 33 Stradale debuted at Monterey Car Week and appeared at events and venues such as Motorlux, Hagerty House, The Quail, Laguna Seca, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles and Macchinissima. The journey culminated with its participation in the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, as well as appearances at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Art Basel, underlining its status at the crossroads of automotive engineering, design and art.

The car’s return strengthens the position of the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese as a place where the brand’s past and present meet. Organized around the themes of Timeline, Beauty and Speed, the museum provides the ideal context to understand the 33 Stradale not as an isolated creation, but as part of Alfa Romeo’s broader narrative. At the same time, visitors can also explore the temporary exhibition Colore, the final chapter of a series dedicated to the many shades of Alfa Romeo’s iconic Rosso.
