Jeep Presents the 2026 Gladiator Shadow Ops Special Edition
Jeep introduces the 2026 Gladiator Shadow Ops, a limited-run midsize pickup with a factory-installed winch, debuting under the new Convoy campaign. Learn the details.
Jeep has unveiled the limited-run 2026 Gladiator Shadow Ops, marking a notable shift in the brand’s approach to off-road special editions. The new package makes history as the first midsize pickup truck to offer a factory-installed winch, a feature previously unavailable in this segment.
The Shadow Ops package serves as the opening chapter of Jeep’s new “Convoy” campaign, which introduces a series of mission-ready special editions. The initiative emphasizes functionality, cohesion and purpose, moving away from purely cosmetic upgrades toward equipment designed for demanding real-world use.
Built on the proven Jeep Gladiator Rubicon platform, Shadow Ops focuses on trail capability and durability. Key equipment includes heavy-duty steel front and rear bumpers, a factory-installed winch integrated during production, and the Trailer Tow Package to enhance versatility. Jeep has not disclosed technical specifications for the winch itself, confirming only that it is installed at the factory and fully integrated into the vehicle.
Visually, the Shadow Ops edition adopts a stealth-inspired appearance. A Satin Black grille, blackout exterior elements and exclusive decals give the truck a more tactical character. The package also includes a body-color Freedom Top three-piece hardtop, body-color fender flares and all-weather slush mats intended for rugged conditions.
The Shadow Ops package is priced at $4,995 MSRP when added to a Gladiator Rubicon, representing a $2,605 increase over a comparably equipped Rubicon with a body-color hardtop and fender flares. Availability at U.S. dealerships is scheduled to begin in February 2026. Jeep has not announced production numbers, describing the model only as a limited-run edition.
With Gladiator Shadow Ops, Jeep reinforces its focus on factory-backed functional upgrades in the midsize pickup segment. As the first release under the Convoy banner, the model signals a broader push toward purpose-driven special editions that build on the brand’s off-road heritage.
