In January 2026, a truly unique 2024 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport known as Elephant Blanc will cross the auction block at Bonhams’ Scottsdale sale. The car is a one-off commission, created as a bespoke project and directly inspired by Bugatti’s artistic and historical heritage.

The name Elephant Blanc, or “White Elephant,” refers not only to the car’s Blanc Glacier exterior but also to one of the most recognizable symbols from Bugatti’s early history. In the late 1920s, the legendary Bugatti Type 41 Royale featured a radiator-mounted elephant sculpture created by Rembrandt Bugatti, the brother of company founder Ettore Bugatti. That sculpture came to represent Bugatti’s fusion of engineering and art, a theme echoed in this modern hypercar.

While the Chiron Super Sport does not carry a hood-mounted sculpture, the elephant motif is subtly integrated into the interior. Embroidered elephant designs appear on the seat headrests, and the door sills are marked with the script “L’ Elephant Blanc.” The remainder of the cabin features extensive exposed carbon fiber, underscoring both the car’s technical focus and its weight-conscious design.

Mechanically, the car follows the standard Chiron Super Sport specification. Power comes from an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,578 horsepower. Unlike the more track-focused Pur Sport, the Super Sport was developed as a high-speed grand tourer, emphasizing refinement and stability during sustained high-speed driving. Its extended long-tail bodywork plays a central role in aerodynamic efficiency and straight-line composure.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Elephant Blanc is scheduled to be offered at Bonhams The Scottsdale Auction on January 23, 2026. No public estimate has been released, with the catalog listing the value as “Refer to department.” That absence of an official figure reflects the car’s singular status and the difficulty of drawing direct comparisons to standard production Chirons.

Interest in the lot is likely to extend beyond performance figures alone, driven by the rare combination of modern hypercar engineering and a clear historical reference to one of Bugatti’s most iconic artistic symbols.
