2026 Acura ADX Debuts New Color While Holding Base Price
Acura announced the 2026 ADX with a new Double Apex Blue color and unchanged $35,000 base price. See details on trims, features, and positioning.
Acura has begun deliveries of the 2026 ADX, choosing a strategy of targeted updates rather than price adjustments. The compact SUV, positioned as the brand’s gateway model, retains its starting price of $35,000 while introducing a new exterior color and maintaining a strong focus on features and value.
The most visible update for the new model year is the introduction of Double Apex Blue Pearl. Previously used on other Acura models, including more performance-oriented vehicles, the color now becomes available on the ADX for the first time. For 2026, it can be paired with the Orchid interior featuring blue microsuede inserts, reinforcing Acura’s effort to give the entry-level SUV a more expressive and youthful character.
The ADX continues to be offered in three trim levels—base, A-Spec, and A-Spec with Advance Package—with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive available across the range. Depending on specification, equipment highlights include a panoramic moonroof, ventilated front seats, a Google built-in infotainment system, and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. This level of content underscores Acura’s intent to position the ADX as a fully equipped entry point into its premium lineup.
Mechanically, the ADX remains unchanged. Power comes from a turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine closely related to the unit used in the Acura Integra, paired with a continuously variable transmission programmed to simulate stepped gear changes. Built on Honda’s global architecture, the model aims to balance compact dimensions with everyday comfort and a more engaging driving experience.
Safety continues to play a central role in the ADX’s positioning. The SUV comes standard with the AcuraWatch suite of driver-assist systems and has previously earned a five-star Overall Vehicle Score from NHTSA as well as the IIHS Top Safety Pick award. In a highly competitive premium compact SUV segment, these credentials strengthen the ADX’s appeal to buyers prioritizing security alongside design and technology.
With the 2026 update, Acura reinforces the ADX’s role as an accessible entry into the brand. By holding pricing steady while refreshing styling options and maintaining a high level of standard and available equipment, the company signals confidence in the model’s position and its ability to attract new customers without resorting to major structural changes.
