Jeep presented the Avenger Black Edition, updated Compass range and Wagoneer S at the Brussels Motor Show 2026, outlining its current electrification strategy.

Jeep turned the Brussels Motor Show 2026 into a clear statement of intent, using the event to showcase how the brand plans to balance electrification with its long-standing off-road identity. The spotlight was shared by the Avenger Black Edition, the renewed Compass lineup, and the fully electric Wagoneer S, each representing a different layer of Jeep’s evolving European strategy.

One of the highlights of the stand was the debut of the Avenger Black Edition. Based on the Altitude trim, this special version focuses on a more cohesive and assertive design, featuring black Jeep and Avenger badges, 17-inch black alloy wheels, privacy glass, and dark interior accents. Beneath the styling, the Avenger Black Edition retains the practical technology that has defined the model’s success, including Selec-Terrain with six drive modes, Hill Descent Control, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Orders for the Black Edition are now open.

The timing of the launch underlines the commercial importance of the Avenger for Jeep in Europe. Since its introduction, the model has surpassed 235,000 units sold, playing a central role in stabilising and growing the brand’s position in the competitive B-SUV segment. In 2025, Jeep maintained a 1% share of the European passenger car market and 1.8% of the SUV segment, while recording double-digit sales growth in markets such as the UK, Austria, and Portugal.

The second pillar of Jeep’s Brussels presentation was the new Compass lineup. With more than 2.5 million units sold globally since its launch, the Compass enters the 2026 model year with an expanded focus on electrified powertrains. The Compass e-Hybrid Plug-In combines petrol and electric propulsion for a total system output of 225 hp. It offers more than 90 km of electric range in the combined cycle and over 100 km in urban driving, while the total driving range reaches 983 km. Selec-Terrain is enhanced by a dedicated electric driving mode.

At the top of the Compass range sits the Compass 4xe, designed with off-road capability firmly in mind. The model features a 10 mm suspension lift, revised off-road bumpers, and improved approach, departure, and breakover angles. A newly developed rear electric motor delivers 132 kW and up to 3,100 Nm of torque at the rear wheels through reduction, improving traction in demanding conditions. Inside, the Compass 4xe uses more durable and easy-to-clean materials aimed at active outdoor use.

The line-up is completed by the Wagoneer S, Jeep’s first global battery-electric vehicle and its new flagship in the D-segment. Producing 600 horsepower, the Wagoneer S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. It is equipped with a 100.5 kWh battery operating on a 400-volt architecture, with fast-charging capability that restores the charge from 20 to 80 percent in 23 minutes. Electric all-wheel drive is paired with five Selec-Terrain modes, while the interior stands out with extensive screen surfaces and a 19-speaker McIntosh premium audio system.

Taken together, Jeep’s Brussels Motor Show premieres point to a clear direction for 2026: expanding electrified options across key segments while preserving the brand’s core values of capability, versatility, and everyday usability.
