MAN Engines announced Adampolis as its new importer for power and marine engines in the Baltic States. Learn how this partnership affects regional service.

MAN Engines is strengthening its position in the Baltic States by appointing Adampolis, UAB as its new importer for the Power and Marine segments. The partnership covers Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and includes responsibility for sales, service and spare parts supply across the MAN Engines portfolio.

For MAN Engines, the decision builds on an established relationship. Adampolis, headquartered in Kaunas, has worked with MAN products for many years and brings in-depth knowledge of the regional market. The company relies on an existing service network in Lithuania, while its presence in Estonia and Latvia is set to be expanded in a targeted manner.

In its new role, Adampolis will handle MAN engines for power generation and combined heat and power, emergency power applications, as well as engines for workboats and yachts. This includes the full range of MAN Engines solutions used in both stationary and maritime applications, from energy supply systems to commercial and recreational vessels.

A key focus of the partnership is the further development of service expertise. MAN Engines and Adampolis plan to intensify cooperation through training and the systematic build-up of competencies, including in the fields of marine and gas engines. According to Jürgen Haberland, Head of Services & Network at MAN Engines, the new importer model combines experience, proximity to customers and a strong service mindset, creating tangible added value for clients in the Baltic region.

Customers are also expected to benefit from Adampolis’ close ties to the MAN Truck & Bus organization. Established processes, an existing regional network and integration into the wider MAN service ecosystem are designed to ensure consistent quality and availability throughout the entire product life cycle.

The appointment of Adampolis comes at a time when MAN Engines is pursuing a broader strategic realignment, with a stronger emphasis on service structures and international partnerships. Seen in this context, the move marks another step in reinforcing MAN Engines’ footprint in North-Eastern Europe and in further professionalizing customer support at a regional level.
