Porsche unveiled the Spirit of Legends mural in Singapore for Lunar New Year and Singapore Art Week 2026, linking motorsport heritage with art. Discover the project details.

Porsche has unveiled a new large-scale mural in Singapore as part of its Lunar New Year celebrations and Singapore Art Week 2026. Created in collaboration with Singapore-based artist Priscilla Tey, the artwork titled Spirit of Legends marks both the Year of the Horse and the 75th anniversary of Porsche Motorsport, extending the brand’s ongoing cultural engagement in the region.

The mural is displayed at Porsche at Jewel, the brand’s flagship lifestyle and retail space located within Jewel Changi Airport. Tey’s work brings together festive symbolism and motorsport heritage, with horses forming the central visual motif. The imagery draws a direct line to the Porsche crest and to Stuttgart, the brand’s historical home, while reflecting qualities such as motion, agility and performance.

The artistic installation is anchored by a tangible piece of Porsche racing history. On display within the Culture Garage at Porsche at Jewel is the Porsche 956, one of the most successful endurance racing cars ever built. The 956 achieved four consecutive overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the early 1980s and became synonymous with Porsche’s dominance in long-distance racing. Its iconic racing livery directly informed the mural’s colour palette.

Spirit of Legends continues Porsche’s established presence at Singapore Art Week, following previous collaborations with internationally recognised artists. Rather than serving as a standalone artwork, the mural functions as a visual narrative that connects motorsport history, regional cultural symbolism and contemporary illustration.

Alongside the mural, Porsche has introduced a limited selection of merchandise inspired by the artwork, including apparel, accessories and Lunar New Year red packets, available exclusively at Porsche at Jewel. The mural will remain on public display until 31 March 2026, reinforcing Porsche at Jewel’s role as a long-term cultural and brand destination ahead of the future Porsche Experience Centre in Singapore.
