Maserati marks the Year of the Trident at The I.C.E. St. Moritz 2026
Coverage of Maserati’s participation in The I.C.E. St. Moritz 2026, marking the Year of the Trident with a Fuoriserie world premiere, as announced by Maserati.
Maserati is set to take part in The I.C.E. St. Moritz 2026, one of the most exclusive winter automotive events, held on January 30 and 31 on the frozen lake of St. Moritz. The appearance marks a key moment in the brand’s Year of the Trident, celebrating a century of the iconic emblem.
The year 2026 carries special meaning for Maserati. One hundred years ago, the brand made its motorsport debut with the Maserati Tipo 26, the first car to wear the Trident badge and a class winner at the Targa Florio on its very first outing. This anniversary sets the tone for Maserati’s presence at St. Moritz, blending heritage with contemporary performance and design.
A central highlight of the event will be a world premiere from the Maserati Fuoriserie program, unveiled against the dramatic backdrop of the frozen Engadine lake. The presentation reinforces Maserati’s focus on bespoke craftsmanship and limited projects, a direction further embodied by the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE concept, which underpins unique creations such as the MCXtrema and the GranTurismo Meccanica Lirica One-Off.
At The I.C.E. Village, Maserati will display some of its most prestigious current models, including the MCPURA Coupé, MCPURA Cielo, GT2 Stradale, and the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica One-Off. Selected vehicles will also take part in dynamic driving experiences on the ice, reflecting the event’s distinctive format where cars are not only exhibited but actively driven in extreme winter conditions.
The brand’s racing heritage will be represented within the Concours of Elegance by two iconic classics: the Maserati 300S and the Maserati 4CLT. These models underline Maserati’s long-standing connection to motorsport and its enduring sporting identity.
Originally conceived as an unconventional showcase, The I.C.E. St. Moritz has evolved into an international gathering that merges concours tradition, dynamic demonstrations and lifestyle culture. For Maserati, it provides a setting where history, innovation and exclusivity converge — on ice, under open skies, and in an environment that demands both technical capability and emotional impact.
