Alfa Romeo presents the Roads of Emotion exhibition at Retromobile 2026, uniting classic icons and the new Tonale. Explore the brand’s heritage in Paris.

Alfa Romeo has taken a prominent role at the 50th edition of Rétromobile, which opened on January 28, 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. For the anniversary edition of one of the world’s most important classic car shows, the brand has unveiled an exhibition titled Roads of Emotion, conceived as an emotional narrative linking Alfa Romeo’s past and present.

At the heart of the stand are three landmark historic models, each representing a defining chapter in the brand’s history. On display are the 1966 1600 Spider “Duetto,” celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, the extremely rare 1955 750 Competizione, which remained at prototype stage with only two units built, and the 1967 33/2 Periscopica, the forerunner of the legendary Tipo 33 family. These cars are usually housed at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese and are rarely seen together outside it.

Alongside these heritage icons stands the updated Alfa Romeo Tonale, presented as a tangible link between tradition and modernity. Its presence reinforces the exhibition’s central message: the pleasure of driving as a constant element of the Alfa Romeo identity, regardless of era or technology.

Located in Hall 7.2, the stand is designed as a sensory journey, with the cars arranged along four symbolic “roads” that express different emotional and stylistic facets of the brand. From refined Italian design to racing passion, the display highlights a shared focus on the driver and the emotional dimension of driving.

The exhibition also introduces visitors to the Alfa Romeo Classiche program, part of the Stellantis Heritage initiative. Dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the brand’s historic vehicles, the program offers services such as certification of origin and authenticity, as well as factory-led restoration and maintenance carried out by specialists.

Alfa Romeo’s presence at the milestone edition of Rétromobile reflects the growing cultural and market interest in classic cars. At a time when the automotive industry is rapidly evolving, the Paris show once again becomes a place where heritage and future perspectives meet, allowing brands to reaffirm the values that have shaped their identity over more than a century.
