Maserati presented the MCPURA Cielo Frozen Magma at The I.C.E. St. Moritz, highlighting Fuoriserie design, Nettuno V6 power, and bespoke details. Find out more.

On the frozen lake of St. Moritz, Maserati unveiled the MCPURA Cielo FROZEN MAGMA, a one-off creation developed through the Fuoriserie customization program and presented at The I.C.E. 2026. The setting defined the tone of the debut: high-performance driving on ice, a concentration of collectible automobiles, and an audience for whom exclusivity is a given.

The project is built around contrast. The body is finished in an iridescent Ai Aqua Rainbow paint that shifts under changing light, set against warm orange accents. These details run through the dreamline livery, badges, and Maserati lettering, creating a visual dialogue between cold and heat. Glossy black lower elements and 20-inch Cyclonic Fuoriserie wheels with orange brake calipers complete the exterior composition.

Inside, the same tension continues. Black Alcantara with laser-etched Chevron graphics is paired with orange backing and stitching, while carbon fiber trim underlines the car’s racing character. A dedicated interior badge reading “Maserati Fuoriserie – THE I.C.E. 2026 – ONE OF ONE” formally certifies the absolute uniqueness of this model.

Technically, the MCPURA Cielo FROZEN MAGMA remains true to the flagship specification. Power comes from the 630 hp V6 Nettuno engine featuring patented pre-chamber technology. The configuration includes carboceramic brakes, a suspension lift system, an extended driver assistance package, and the Sonus Faber Premium audio system. As a Cielo, it also features an electrochromic glass roof using PDLC technology, reinforcing the dual nature of the open-top format.

The debut of FROZEN MAGMA formed part of Maserati’s broader presence at The I.C.E., alongside the MCPURA Coupé and Cielo, GT2 Stradale, and one-off versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Historic models, including the Maserati 300S and Maserati 4CLT, also appeared on the ice, linking the event to the brand’s motorsport heritage and the ongoing Year of the Trident.

Within this context, the MCPURA Cielo FROZEN MAGMA stands not merely as a dramatic showpiece, but as a statement of what Fuoriserie and BOTTEGAFUORISERIE can represent: bespoke craftsmanship as a form of expression, and one-off projects as a way to reinterpret an established supercar without compromising Maserati’s engineering identity.
