Aston Martin names Breitling Official Watch Partner
Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark confirms Breitling as Official Watch Partner, covering road cars and the F1 team, with the first timepiece due in Q3 2026.
Aston Martin has announced a new global, multi-year partnership with Breitling, naming the Swiss watchmaker as its Official Watch Partner. The collaboration extends beyond the British manufacturer’s road cars, as Breitling has also been appointed Official Watch Partner of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team.
Both companies describe the alliance as a natural meeting of shared values, built around speed, engineering precision, and an uncompromising attention to detail. Aston Martin points to the partnership as a showcase of design mastery and performance, while Breitling highlights its long-standing commitment to iconic proportions, refined finishes, and purposeful craftsmanship.
The agreement is positioned as more than a branding exercise. The brands have confirmed that the partnership will lead to a series of exclusive releases over its multi-year run, with the first Aston Martin timepiece “born from this collaboration” set to launch in Q3 2026. That timeline suggests a broader product strategy rather than a one-off limited edition.
History plays a central role in the story the two brands are now reviving. Breitling traces its early links to motoring back to 1907, when Léon Breitling introduced the Vitesse, a chronograph capable of measuring speeds up to 250 miles or kilometres per hour. The device was later adopted by Swiss police to issue some of the earliest speeding tickets. Aston Martin’s own origins are rooted in racing, with Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford earning recognition after a victory at Aston Hill — the moment that ultimately gave the company its enduring name.
The partnership also leans on cultural parallels from the 1960s, when both brands became symbols of modern style and engineering. Breitling’s Top Time gained iconic status after appearing on Sean Connery’s wrist in Thunderball (1965), while Aston Martin’s DB5 cemented its place in popular culture through the James Bond franchise, shaping a shared image of sophistication paired with cutting-edge performance.
The collaboration officially begins with a specific statement piece: the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. The watch features a titanium case and a carbon-fibre dial with Aston Martin’s signature green accents. It is released in a limited run of 1,959 pieces and carries a listed price of €10,500. Beyond its specifications, the model signals Breitling’s return to racing, using Aston Martin’s Formula One platform as a high-profile stage.
With the first fully new timepiece scheduled for 2026, the launch can be seen as an opening chapter rather than the main event. If future releases follow the same direction, the partnership may develop into a distinctive long-term watch line shaped by motorsport heritage, modern design, and the visibility of Formula One.
