2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 Revealed by Jeep
Jeep introduces the 2026 Wrangler Willys 392 with a 470-hp 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, heritage design cues, and March order timing. Explore specs, pricing, and details.
Jeep is keeping its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve celebration moving forward, and the brand’s fourth special-edition Wrangler has now arrived: the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys 392. The limited-run model blends Willys-inspired heritage styling with one of Jeep’s most iconic powertrains, the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8.
According to Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf, the message from the Wrangler community has been clear. Buyers have been asking for a return to a more classic, back-to-basics Wrangler formula, but without giving up the unmistakable performance of a V-8. The Willys 392 is Jeep’s answer, positioned as a heritage-focused model that still delivers full-throttle muscle.
At the center of the package is the familiar 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Jeep says the setup is designed to handle everything from dunes to rocky trails, while a two-mode dual exhaust system lets drivers switch between a more subdued tone and a more aggressive performance note.
The off-road hardware list is extensive. The Wrangler Willys 392 comes standard with 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires mounted on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, delivering 11.1 inches of ground clearance. Jeep also includes the Selec-Trac full-time transfer case, a Tru-Lok electronic locking rear differential, and third-generation Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, including a full-float rear axle. Steel bumpers, rock rails, and a winch-capable front bumper round out its trail-ready focus.
Despite its rugged positioning, Jeep clearly wants the Willys 392 to feel like more than a stripped-down throwback. Inside, buyers get Nappa leather heated power front seats, an Alpine nine-speaker premium audio system with a 552-watt amplifier, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. Four programmable auxiliary switches and the Trailer Tow Package are also included as standard equipment.
Heritage cues remain a key part of the identity. Willys hood decals and vintage-style 4WD rear graphics are paired with modern lighting and technology features. Jeep also confirmed that the Willys 392 color palette will expand in March with the introduction of Goldilocks, described as a rich heritage-inspired exterior shade for the 2026 lineup.
Orders for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 are scheduled to open in March, with a starting MSRP of $69,995 in the U.S., excluding the $1,995 destination charge. That pricing stands out within the Twelve 4 Twelve lineup, especially as the previously revealed Wrangler Moab 392 starts at $79,995.
With the Willys 392, Jeep appears to be leaning heavily into what has always made the Wrangler nameplate emotionally powerful: heritage, mechanical character, and the unmistakable appeal of a V-8. And with more special editions still expected as part of Twelve 4 Twelve, the brand is clearly intent on keeping Wrangler momentum strong throughout the year.
