Porsche Experience Center Toronto Brings Urban Driving Thrills in 2025
Canada’s first Porsche Experience Center opens in Pickering near Toronto in June 2025, offering unique urban access and innovative driving experiences.
In June 2025, just 40 kilometers east of downtown Toronto, Canada’s very first Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) will open its doors in Pickering, Ontario. This marks a significant milestone not only for Porsche enthusiasts but also for the country’s automotive landscape. It will be the tenth PEC worldwide and the third in North America — yet, uniquely, the first designed with an urban footprint so close to a major metropolis.
The facility will be part of the expansive Durham Live complex, a destination featuring a casino, concert venue, luxury hotel, and retail spaces. The architectural concept, led by global design firm HOK — known for projects like Porsche’s Atlanta HQ — incorporates innovative, sustainable elements. These include a geothermal heating and cooling system, photovoltaic panels covering around 20% of the building’s electricity needs, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure aligned with Porsche’s carbon neutrality goals.
At the heart of the centre lies a two-kilometer track engineered by Tilke Engineering, featuring sections inspired by famous circuits such as Laguna Seca’s corkscrew, the Nürburgring’s Carousel, and the Porsche Curves from Le Mans. Visitors can experience Porsche vehicles in various instructor-led modules, including a low-friction loop, dynamic area, and drift circle, all crafted to highlight the capabilities of the cars under professional guidance.
PEC Toronto goes beyond performance driving. The upper floor hosts meeting spaces, while the ground level features the Carrera Café, a Porsche Lifestyle Shop, and a lab with five racing simulators. Canadian cultural influences are woven into the building’s identity — from Quebec wood on the exterior walls to a commissioned sculpture by local artists at the entrance.
Although an official events calendar has yet to be released, PEC Toronto is poised to become a major attraction for fans, investors, and business partners alike. It also serves as a strategic touchpoint for advancing Porsche’s EV ambitions in Canada, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Far more than just a racetrack, Porsche Experience Centre Toronto aims to offer a deep and immersive connection with the brand’s DNA. As interest in automotive culture and sustainable technologies grows, PEC Toronto is likely to become a key player in shaping the customer experience of tomorrow.
