Alfa Romeo said at Brussels Motor Show 2026 that Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio orders reopen in Europe, keeping 520 hp V6 models available until 2027.

Alfa Romeo has reopened European orders for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. From early March 2026, customers across Europe can once again order the brand’s most performance-focused sedan and SUV, a move directly linked to the decision to extend the current generation of both models through 2027.

The strategy to prolong the lifecycle of the Giulia and Stelvio, including their Quadrifoglio variants, had already been outlined by the company. Now it becomes tangible: the flagship performance versions return to European order books. Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili confirmed the decision during the Brussels Motor Show 2026, describing it as a commitment to customers who value extreme performance and the “pure emotions” embedded in the brand’s DNA.

Both models are powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 delivering 520 hp, paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The Giulia is offered with rear-wheel drive, while the Stelvio features the Q4 all-wheel-drive system. According to published technical specifications, the Giulia Quadrifoglio accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 308 km/h. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio completes the same sprint in around 3.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 285 km/h.

The engineering philosophy remains focused on lightweight construction and structural rigidity. Extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre extends from the driveshaft and body components to interior elements. The Giulia incorporates an active carbon-fibre front splitter designed to optimise aerodynamic balance, while an Akrapovič exhaust system underscores the car’s performance character. Visually, the Quadrifoglio versions stand apart with 19-inch wheels on the Giulia and 21-inch wheels on the Stelvio, along with distinctive racing-inspired details.

The Quadrifoglio name itself carries historical weight. The four-leaf clover first appeared in 1923 on an Alfa Romeo RL driven by Ugo Sivocci to victory at the Targa Florio. Since then, the emblem has identified the most powerful and emotionally charged models in the brand’s portfolio.

The reopening of orders comes amid an adjusted product strategy. Alfa Romeo has confirmed that the current Giulia and Stelvio will remain available until the end of 2027, while future generations are expected to transition to the STLA Large platform with a multi-energy approach. In this context, the return of the Quadrifoglio versions signals the brand’s intent to sustain its traditional high-performance petrol identity during a period of transformation.

Rather than a nostalgic gesture, the move reflects a calculated decision. Alfa Romeo is reinforcing its connection with driving enthusiasts while preparing the groundwork for the next chapter of its performance lineage.
