Porsche Design and Orlando Bloom present a limited Capsule Collection featuring the P’86007 sunglasses and a hooded leather jacket, announced on 25 February 2026.

Porsche Design and Orlando Bloom have unveiled a co-designed Capsule Collection that brings together the actor’s personal style and the functional, automotive-inspired aesthetics that define the brand. The limited series includes two key pieces: a hooded leather jacket and the P’86007 sunglasses. The collection became available on 25 February 2026 via porsche.com and selected Porsche Design stores, with the eyewear also offered through specialist retailers.

For Bloom, the project goes beyond a typical endorsement. Since 2025 he has served as a brand ambassador for Porsche Design in the timepieces and eyewear categories, and he emphasizes his involvement in the creative and ideation process. The collaboration, he notes, reflects authenticity and individuality while remaining aligned with the philosophy of the house.

That philosophy traces back to Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, designer of the Porsche 911 and founder of Porsche Design in 1972. His principle — “Design is not simply art, it is the elegance of function” — continues to shape the brand’s approach. From the early Chronograph I to contemporary accessories, Porsche Design has consistently translated engineering logic and performance thinking into everyday objects.

The P’86007 sunglasses extend the Iconic 911 Targa design language, reinterpreting the distinctive safety bar of the legendary 911 Targa. Porsche patented the Targa concept in 1965, introducing a fixed roll bar and removable roof panel; the name itself references the Targa Florio race. In the new eyewear model, this heritage is expressed through a titanium frame construction that fully encloses the shield lens and creates a forward-reaching visual line.

The frame is crafted from lightweight titanium, a material widely used in premium eyewear for its strength, low weight and resistance to corrosion. The lenses feature VISION DRIVE™ technology, including UV400 protection, anti-glare properties and impact and scratch resistance. Within the range are polarized, Polarized XTR with contrast enhancement, and photochromic options. The sunglasses are offered in three colorways and come in premium packaging with a personal note from Orlando Bloom.

The second pillar of the collection is a hooded leather jacket made from black water-repellent leather and designed with a reversible construction. Its oversized silhouette reflects Bloom’s sporty-casual style, while functional elements — a two-way front zip, adjustable cord stoppers at the hem, sleeves and hood, and underarm ventilation zips with perforated leather — underscore the emphasis on practicality. Subtle Porsche Design branding appears on the left sleeve, with Orlando Bloom co-branding on the right.

Taken together, the Capsule Collection reinforces Porsche Design’s position as a luxury lifestyle brand extending the legacy of F. A. Porsche beyond the automotive sphere. By merging the historical codes of the 911 Targa with contemporary materials and the creative input of a long-time enthusiast and ambassador, the brand continues to demonstrate how performance-driven design can move seamlessly from the road into personal style.
