Alfa Romeo joins FuoriConcorso 2025 as official partner, showcasing 15 legendary Italian race cars, including 6C 1750, Giulia TZ2, and 33 Stradale.

From May 24 to 25, the shores of Lake Como will once again echo with the sounds of engines—ones steeped in history and legend. In the evocative setting of Villa Sucota, FuoriConcorso 2025 will take center stage, with Alfa Romeo as the Official Partner. This year's theme, “Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars”, celebrates the most iconic race cars that have shaped the legacy of Italian motorsport.

For the occasion, Villa Sucota will be transformed into Casa Alfa Romeo, a space entirely devoted to a brand whose roots go back to 1910. Around 15 models will be showcased—each representing a unique era of design, performance, and cultural impact. Among them will be racing legends as well as the modern-day 33 Stradale, a limited-production model of just 33 units, already considered a collector's dream.

Leading the lineup is the 1930 6C 1750 Gran Sport, the same model that racing icon Tazio Nuvolari drove to victory at the Mille Miglia, setting a 100 km/h average speed record. Its Zagato bodywork, supercharged inline-six engine, and impressive list of trophies cement its place in pre-war racing history.

From the 1960s comes the stunning Giulia TZ2 (1965), a low-slung, fiberglass-bodied racer with a tubular frame. Its sleek profile and signature “truncated tail” made it a standout. On the track, it excelled at Monza, Sebring, and the Targa Florio, proving its beauty wasn’t just skin deep.

The 1970s are represented by the fearsome 33 TT12, the peak of the Tipo 33 family. With its flat-12 engine and distinctive aerodynamic profile, it dominated the 1975 World Championship for Makes, driven by legends like Merzario and Andretti.

Formula 1 heritage is celebrated through the GP Tipo 159 “Alfetta”, the car that gave Juan Manuel Fangio his first world title in 1951. As an evolution of the 158, it featured a twin-stage supercharger, De Dion suspension, and output up to 450 hp—a mechanical marvel of its time.

Completing the display is the modern 33 Stradale, a tribute to the 1967 icon. Unveiled in 2023, it merges uncompromising performance with everyday usability. Built entirely to customer specification, all 33 examples were sold before production even began.

Rather than simply revisiting its past, Alfa Romeo is using FuoriConcorso to breathe life into it. Every car in Casa Alfa Romeo is more than a machine—it is a living narrative, an era encapsulated in metal, rubber, and roaring engine notes.
