Alfa Romeo Museum 2026 program celebrates 50th anniversary
Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese unveils its 2026 program marking 50 years, with exhibitions, events and heritage highlights. Explore the full schedule.
The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese is marking its 50th anniversary with a full-year program in 2026, turning the site into a central hub of events that bring the brand’s history to life through exhibitions, parades and archive access.
The highlight will be Alfa Romeo Day on June 21, traditionally held near June 24, the date linked to the brand’s founding in 1910. This year, the celebration coincides with the museum’s own milestone, reinforcing its role as a meeting point for Alfisti communities worldwide through conferences, club gatherings and dedicated activities.
The scale of the program reflects the museum’s evolution. Since its reopening in 2015, it has operated as a full brand center rather than a static exhibition space, housing around 70 cars and attracting more than 100,000 visitors annually from over 120 countries.
The 2026 calendar is structured around key chapters of Alfa Romeo’s heritage. It begins on March 29 with events dedicated to the 100-year collaboration with Carrozzeria Touring, the coachbuilder behind some of the marque’s most iconic designs and a partner in modern projects such as the new 33 Stradale. The program includes a conference and a parade of Touring-bodied cars.
In April, attention shifts to another icon: the Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider “Duetto”, celebrating its 60th anniversary. First introduced in 1966, the model will be explored through a four-stage exhibition reflecting its evolution from the early “osso di seppia” design to later series, accompanied by owner gatherings and themed events.
On May 10, the exhibition “Cuore Sportivo” will open, presenting Alfa Romeo’s development not only in automotive production but also in aviation, industrial engineering and research. This approach mirrors the museum’s core structure, built around three themes — Timeline, Beauty and Speed — linking history, design and technology.
One of the rarest opportunities will be the open day at the Documentation Center, which preserves around 6,000 linear meters of archival material, including technical drawings and historical records dating back to the company’s founding in 1910. The archive handles over 10,000 requests annually and is usually not accessible to the public.
The museum also forms part of the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE project, which connects historical heritage with modern customization programs across Alfa Romeo and Maserati. This positions Arese not only as a place of preservation, but as an active element in the brand’s current strategy.
The 2026 program highlights how Alfa Romeo continues to link its past with its present — through archives, iconic models and a global community — with the museum serving as the point where that connection becomes tangible.
