The car represents one of the most sought-after versions of the W111 lineup. The 280 SE 3.5 marked the final and most powerful evolution of the two-door series, introducing a new 200-horsepower M116 V8 along with updated styling, including a lower and wider grille. Production totaled 3,270 coupes, making these cars relatively scarce in today’s collector market.
