Porsche and Arthur Kar Collaborate on Carrera GT 25th Anniversary Capsule
Porsche and Arthur Kar reunite for a capsule collection honoring 25 years of the Carrera GT. The release celebrates automotive heritage and modern fashion.
Porsche Lifestyle Group is once again teaming up with Paris-based designer Arthur Kar to celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of its most legendary supercars – the Carrera GT. For Kar, this project is deeply personal; he has long described the model as a symbol of raw emotion and technical brilliance.
The capsule collection is set to launch in September 2025, marking a new chapter in the collaboration between Porsche and Kar. It follows their successful ventures with the 968 L’ART art car in 2021 and the Tokyo capsule in 2023. These previous projects showcased how automotive heritage can seamlessly merge with fashion, resonating strongly with a young, urban audience.
First unveiled as a concept in 2000 and produced in just 1,270 units, the Carrera GT has become an icon of pure driving experience. Its 5.7-liter V10 engine, lightweight carbon monocoque chassis, and manual gearbox cemented its status as a cult classic. The 2025 capsule collection aims to channel the spirit of this machine into garments and accessories, blending motorsport heritage with streetwear aesthetics.
Founded in 2003, Porsche Lifestyle Group continues to extend the brand's reach beyond automobiles. Bringing together Porsche Design, Porsche Lifestyle, and Studio F. A. Porsche, the group creates products infused with the same DNA and design philosophy as the marque’s legendary cars.
While specific details of the upcoming collection remain undisclosed, this collaboration is poised to be another milestone in Porsche’s evolution as a cultural icon. Kar’s previous works suggest that enthusiasts and collectors worldwide can expect a unique fusion of Carrera GT heritage and modern fashion sensibilities.
