Bugatti will reveal its Solitaire on August 7 in Molsheim, introducing a new ultra-exclusive one-of-one car program rooted in its heritage of bespoke design.

Bugatti is preparing to unveil a new chapter in its legacy of automotive artistry. On August 7 in Molsheim, the company will present an ultra-exclusive program of one-of-one cars and reveal the first model in this series, named Solitaire.

This debut continues a tradition that dates back over a century to the 1920s and 1930s, when Jean Bugatti moved beyond selling bare chassis and pioneered in-house coachbuilding. This vision led to timeless masterpieces, including the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic.

The upcoming program follows the philosophy behind Bugatti’s Sur Mesure projects, which have already delivered unique creations such as the 57 One of One and 55 One of One editions of the Chiron. These vehicles stood out not only for their rarity but also for their deep connection to the brand’s heritage. The “57 One of One” mirrored the color and silhouette of the Type 57 SC Atlantic, while the “55 One of One” paid homage to the 1931 Type 55 Super Sport. Such projects illustrate how Bugatti blends modern engineering with its storied past.

While details of the upcoming Solitaire remain undisclosed, it is expected to embody the same philosophy — a design rooted in Bugatti’s history, executed with exceptional craftsmanship, and created as a true automotive solitaire, never to be replicated.
