Mercedes-Benz marks 10 years of Junge Sterne Vans with a limited-time 60-month warranty on all electric transporters, highlighting reliability and service benefits.

Mercedes-Benz Vans is celebrating ten years of its "Junge Sterne Transporter" program, launched in 2015 to bring reliability and transparency to the used van market. By mid-2019, the company had already sold around 50,000 vehicles under this label, and today the program is represented at approximately 160 sales points across Germany.

To mark the anniversary, the brand introduced a special offer: all fully electric vans now come with an extended 60-month warranty. This complements the existing benefits, including a 24-month vehicle guarantee, strict inspection standards, and 12 months of mobility coverage. For electric models, the program also extends to the high-voltage battery, with coverage for up to eight years and a required health check ensuring at least 90% capacity.

Small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, have embraced the program for its balance of trust and affordability. A symbolic example came with the handover of a Sprinter panel van to the charitable organization "aktion hoffnung, Hilfe für die Mission GmbH," which focuses on collecting and reusing clothing and relies exclusively on used vehicles in its fleet.

Company representatives emphasize that the program’s success lies in its comprehensive promise: rigorous vehicle checks, service packages, and flexible financing options build confidence and security for customers. With the growing share of electric models in the used van segment, initiatives like these warranties are set to become even more relevant.
