Range Rover reports the launch of the limited Sport TWENTY Edition, marking 20 years of the model with new design elements, hybrid powertrains and performance heritage.

Range Rover has marked the 20th anniversary of its most dynamic model with the launch of the limited Range Rover Sport TWENTY Edition, a version that directly references key milestones in the vehicle’s evolution and engineering legacy.

The anniversary model features distinctive “TWENTY” detailing, 23-inch wheels and a signature colour palette including Sanguinello Orange — a finish that continues a visual lineage dating back to the 2004 Range Stormer concept. Inside, the cabin adopts performance seats from the flagship Range Rover Sport SV, along with carbon fibre trim and a dark, focused interior design.

Its technical specification reinforces the model’s core idea — combining performance and luxury. The line-up includes flagship powertrains such as a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and the P550e plug-in hybrid. The latter pairs a six-cylinder Ingenium engine with a 105 kW electric motor and a 38.2 kWh battery, delivering 550 PS and up to 115 km of electric range (WLTP), with CO₂ emissions from 18 g/km.

The TWENTY Edition is closely tied to the history of the model itself, which since its debut in 2005 has played a central role in transforming Range Rover into a full family of vehicles. By 2021, global sales of the Range Rover Sport had surpassed one million units, confirming its position as a major player in the premium SUV segment.

Over the years, the model has consistently demonstrated its capabilities in demanding environments. Among its most notable achievements are a production SUV record at Pikes Peak in 2013, a high-speed 849 km crossing of the Empty Quarter desert completed in 10 hours and 22 minutes, the climb to Heaven’s Gate in China involving 999 steps, and the dramatic ascent of the Kárahnjúkar Dam in Iceland. These milestones have shaped its reputation as one of the most versatile and performance-oriented vehicles in the brand’s line-up.

The evolution of the model is also reflected in its technology. From early supercharged V8 engines and systems such as Dynamic Response to modern hybrid powertrains and the 635 PS SV flagship, the Range Rover Sport has steadily moved toward electrification while maintaining a strong focus on performance.

The TWENTY Edition captures this transition, combining historical design cues with proven engineering and current technologies. The exact production volume and pricing of the limited edition have not been disclosed, reinforcing its positioning as an exclusive offering within the Range Rover portfolio.
