Vulcanus, a luxury Mercedes-Benz V-Class conversion, was unveiled at Chengdu Motor Show 2025, featuring a two-tone exterior and a premium business-jet cabin.

Chengdu Motor Show 2025 once again confirmed its reputation as the place where bold design and daring ideas take the spotlight. From August 29 to September 7, more than 120 brands showcased over 1,600 vehicles across nearly 220,000 m², turning the Western China International Expo City into a hub of automotive experimentation.

Vulcanus – a true business jet on display

At Chengdu, Vulcanus became one of the most talked-about luxury conversions. This project transforms the Mercedes-Benz V-Class into a first-class mobile office. Several configurations were presented at the booth, with a distinctive two-tone exterior and a bold grille that drew attention from afar. The interior focuses on comfort with individual captain’s chairs, premium trim, and an advanced multimedia system. Vulcanus shows that the Chinese market is ready to offer business-aviation-level solutions and is willing to experiment with the luxury minivan format.

The name “Curious,” seen in some non-English news, is not confirmed in English or German sources – it is referred to as the QQ3 EV.
