Adidas becomes official apparel partner of Audi F1, launching global collection in February 2026 with gear for drivers, crew and fans ahead of team debut.

Audi and adidas are joining forces ahead of the brand’s historic debut in Formula 1. The German sportswear giant has signed a multi-year agreement with the future Audi F1 Team, becoming its official apparel partner. The deal covers everything from race suits and footwear for drivers and mechanics to fan merchandise, with the global launch planned for February 2026 – before the team’s first race under the new regulations.

The partnership focuses on the joint development of high-performance gear designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern Formula 1. While specific product details have not yet been revealed, both companies emphasize a commitment to functionality and style. German media report that black and red could be the dominant colors of the collection, though this has not been officially confirmed by Audi or adidas.

Top management strongly supports the collaboration. Audi CEO Gernot Döllner noted that the partnership goes beyond innovation, reflecting shared values and a long history of cooperation in elite sports. Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley added that the gear will help team members perform at their peak during the intense race weekends.

Audi’s preparation for 2026 is gathering momentum: the chassis base remains in Hinwil, power units are developed in Neuburg, and Revolut has been announced as the team’s title partner. The driver lineup will feature Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, while bp and Castrol will supply sustainable fuels and lubricants for the new power unit era.

For adidas, this is its second major Formula 1 partnership, following the deal with Mercedes-AMG Petronas in 2025. By equipping both German teams, the company is strengthening its presence in the paddock and shaping a fresh visual identity for the sport. Observers suggest that the global collection could become an early touchpoint for fans, building excitement well before Audi’s first race.
