6-Mile Acura NSX Type S Listed on Bring a Trailer
A 2022 Acura NSX Type S with just 6 miles is listed on Bring a Trailer. One of 350 units, this final-edition hybrid supercar is drawing strong auction interest.
Almost new with just 6 miles on the odometer, a 2022 Acura NSX Type S has already reached a $246,810 bid on Bring a Trailer — not just another rare supercar, but one of only 350 final examples that closed the chapter on the second-generation NSX.
This is the 2022 Type S, the most powerful road-going version of the NC1. Marked as #164 of 350, it combines a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with three electric motors to deliver 600 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission and Acura’s SH-AWD system.
The particular car stands out not only for its limited production but also for its condition. With just 6 miles, it remains essentially unused: factory protective coverings are still in place inside, and the car comes with its original window sticker, documentation, and accessories. Its original MSRP in 2022 was $187,495.
Specification adds another layer of appeal. Finished in Long Beach Blue Pearl — the same color used on the record-setting NSX Type S that set a production car lap record at Long Beach — it features an Orchid interior with Alcantara inserts. Equipment includes carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon-fiber aerodynamic components, and a magnetorheological suspension system.
The Type S holds a distinct place in the NSX lineage. The second-generation model, introduced in 2016, was hand-built at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, and the 2022 version marked its final, limited run. With just 350 units produced worldwide, around 300 allocated to the U.S., the model quickly gained collector status after production ended.
Market activity reflects that positioning. Even before the auction closes, the current bid has surpassed the original price, while other Type S examples have traded in the $250,000 range and above. Against that backdrop, a near-delivery-mile example with full factory completeness becomes especially notable.
In the end, this lot brings together several layers of rarity: a final-edition model, limited production, a confirmed serial number, and a condition that is close to factory-new. In the modern collectible supercar segment, combinations like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find — and that is clearly reflected in the strong bidding interest.
